hi...phaedrus does not mean wolf...its one of the mistakes that pirsig admits to in the intro part of his latest reprint of zen...hope this helps!
Hi, I like a lot of things in your website. The 'culture' definition needs something to 'lead up' to Brian Eno, I thought, and the perfect thing would be from Matthew Arnold's Culture and Anarchy: " the best which has been thought and said in the world" "the trying to perfect oneself" and of course the catch-all: "Sweetness and Light" (which sounds like an Rn'B duo) there, a random comment.
wow...i became lost amid the laughter in my mind as i stumbled upon what i always knew had to exist....if i could do anything to help...i would love it.
Complete thoughts come from the myriad of things, the naming of ten thousand things.
thank you! ,thank you Boorstin,it is you who made me bump into grids..this is crazy ..where have you been all these years?now surfing has a better meaning thank you jon ,your work is being appreciated all the way from Turkey bamboozeld is not the word i reckon ,bewitched ,dazzled, addled to see such work so once again i thank thee :)
Bringing method to madness and madness to method, and showing how both have a place in popular culture, your website fascinated me.
There is, of course, John Keats' poem with the refrain "Huzzah for folly, O!" None dare call it praise, of course. . .
Just a thought: life is a dance; life is sex. There is no starting/finishing of these activities, the definition of starting/stopping something is only a perspective. A perspective can range from any polar opposite; perspective is different for everyone however it is attracted into common groupings by the influence of society/environment. Any perspective is the truth because truth can only effect itself at maximum onto a person at the level of consiousness of the person, which is a perspective.
stumbled across what appeared to be a scant page of a distant quote regarding derrida and became thoroughly delighted in the promiscuity of the words that are encoded within this website. i feared sharing it with others but am keeping its origins to myself. i hope that you continue to keep the efforts of grids running - a gem in the flawed web of the internet.
I must say I'm bamboozeld by the vissisitudenalness of your postmodernist web site
Hi Tell the guy that wrote this: "I must say I'm bamboozeld by the vissisitudenalness of your postmodernist web site". that the word "vissisitudenalness" does not exist in the English language. He was probably thinking about "vicissitude", and more specifically, about the derived adjective: vicissitudinous. cheers
I was lost in a state of fascination for way too long while I should have been working. Damn you anyway!
I landed here from an Altavista search on Richard Rorty, fulfilling your goal of "serendipitous surfing for visitors"
Don't know what that means.. can see that it matters to cogitate to heavily on certain themes which just reverberate in a curious way.
Really did like your website GRIDS
I wish I gave out prizes for all the rotten web sites I see.. then I would have the pleasure of telling you that you recieve nothing, but my esteem.
GRIDS is part of
